    1. License Grant

    Upon purchase, PayslipGen grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use the software on your own infrastructure.

    • Single-buyer license: One purchaser license per business entity/project.
    • Personal/internal business use only: Use is limited to your own internal operations.
    • No redistribution, resale, sharing, or uploading: You may not distribute source files or compiled package to third parties.
    • No transfer/sublicense: License rights cannot be transferred, assigned, or sublicensed.
    • License terminates on breach: Any material violation of these license terms immediately ends your license rights.

    2. Payments & Delivery

    One-Time Payment

    PayslipGen is sold as a one-time purchase. There are no recurring monthly or yearly subscription fees. All future updates are included free of charge.

    Instant Digital Delivery

    Following a successful transaction via our payment provider (Fourthwall), you will receive an instant download link for the source code and documentation.

    3. Host Responsibility

    Because this software is self-hosted, the end-user (you) assumes full responsibility for:

    • 1. Securing the server environment and database file.
    • 2. Ensuring compliance with local labor and payroll laws.
    • 3. Maintaining backups of payroll data and generated PDFs.
    • 4. Protecting admin credentials and master passwords.

    4. Support & Maintenance

    We provide technical support for installation issues and bug fixes related to the original source code. Support does not cover issues arising from significant user modifications or server-side environment failures.

    5. Limitation of Liability

    THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE. YOU USE PAYSLIPGEN AT YOUR OWN RISK.

    6. Termination

    This license remains active unless terminated. We may suspend support or terminate license rights if these terms are materially breached (for example, unauthorized redistribution of source code). Upon termination, you must cease distribution and remove unauthorized copies.

    7. Refund Window & Conditions

    • A strict 14-Days Refund Policy window applies from the date of purchase.
    • Refunds are exclusively granted for verifiable technical defects that our support team is unable to resolve.
    • Change of mind, incorrect operating system, or discovering you no longer need the software are strictly not eligible for a refund.
    • Refund requests must include purchase details, error logs, and a clear description of the technical defect.
    • Refunds are processed at our sole discretion and may be denied for any non-technical reason, fraud, abuse, or unauthorized chargeback behavior.

    8. Taxes, VAT, and Duties

    Listed prices may be shown before applicable taxes, VAT, GST, or regional charges required by law. Where applicable, taxes may be collected by the payment provider at checkout. You are responsible for any additional local obligations in your jurisdiction.

    9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

    These terms are governed by the laws of the seller's principal place of business (currently Bangladesh), except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.

    Before formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution in writing for 30 days. If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration in Dhaka, Bangladesh, conducted in English by a single arbitrator, unless mandatory law requires a different forum.

    Either party may seek urgent injunctive or equitable relief for intellectual-property or confidentiality violations.

    10. Changes to These Terms

    We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when published on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the software after updates indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
